Ice blanketed a road after a heavy hailstorm battered tropical northern Thailand.
Layers of thin but slippery ice greeted shocked villagers driving on the roads in Phayao province during a cold spell on January 21.
Footage shows vehicles slowly driving through the misty neighbourhood after a heavy hailstorm hit the area the day before. Local authorities are surveying villagers to find the total damage caused by the hailstorm.
It was reported to be the second time the hailstorm had hit the area causing damage to extensive agricultural land in the district.
