Footage shows an adorable pet cat running on a treadmill – with a fish to keep it motivated like a donkey chasing a carrot.
The female moggie named Kao was trying to reach the savoury fried treat while unknowingly being tricked by her owner into running on the exercise machine in Bangkok, Thailand on January 25.
Pet owner Thanakorn Chundai said he was recreating the carrot and donkey trick.
He said: ‘My cat loved to eat food but it took her a while before realising that it was a trick to make her work out.’
