This is the heartwarming moment a kind train driver rescued a turtle stuck on the tracks.
Footage shows one worker stopping the train before picking up the shelled creature lying in the middle of the rail line in Prachin Buri province, Thailand on January 4.
His colleague said: ‘We were relieved that it was not hurt and that we were on moderate speed when we spotted it from afar.’
The turtle was given to a local Buddhist temple to be taken care of.
