A greedy wild snake caught a fish and dropped it on the shore because it was too big for his mouth.
The python grabbed the fish with his mouth and dragged it to dry land in a lake in Prachuap Khiri Khan, Thailand on January 10.
The snake kept a firm bite on the fish but eventually let go of it when he realised it was too big for his mouth.
Onlooker Panat Yuyen said the snake may have wanted to rest first before enjoying its big meal.
He said: ‘I think he wanted to rest first after catching the fish. He was greedy for choosing a big fish in the pond.’
