An injured bird perched on a toddler’s in a fast-food restaurant after it was rescued.

Footage shows the grey bird with long beak sitting on the high chair in Tampines West, Singapore on March 3.

Onlooker Mabel Tan, who saw the bird while they ate at the restaurant, said it was rescued by a food deliver rider and took it inside to let it rest.

She said: ‘This gorgeous bird was picked off the ground by a food delivery man in Tampines West. It didn’t seem like it could fly. It had very sharp beak and lunged at people who went too close.’

They called the animal rescuers who arrived and gave the bird some water before the feathered creature flew away.
