This is the moment Thai police raided an illegal ‘lock in’ party where the found bags of ketamine.

More than 300 revellers were packed inside the ‘Bone Pattaya’ nightclub in Pattaya City, Chonburi province on March 6. It had stayed open for a ‘lock in’ past the midnight closing time put in place due to Covid-19.

Officers stormed inside and found that guests were breaking Covid-19 guidelines by not using masks and following social distancing rules.

Four clear zip bags of white powder which returned positive test results for ketamine were found hidden in the toilets.

Police found no illegal items on the customers and the drugs were sent to a laboratory for further tests.

Chonburi Police deputy chief Pol. Col. Mekawit Pradipol said other entertainment venues had co-operated with the authorities and already closed before midnight when the police arrived.

He added: ‘Evidence will be submitted and the bar’s license could be revoked.’
