A king cobra held up traffic while crossing along a forest road in southern Thailand.
The venomous reptile was seen slithering achingly slow across the tarmac in Krabi province on March 10.
Driver Jiraporn Promkhong said: ‘I was relieved that I noticed the snake from a distance. I stopped in time before I could hit it.’
The motorist waited for the cobra to disappear behind the grass and plants before he proceeded to drive and continue his journey.
