Roads were blocked by an avalanche following snow in Pakistan on April 18.
Footage shows the large piles of snow that blocked the Karakoram Highway (KKH) near Channas bridge in the Juglot Guro area of Gilgit city.
Passing driver Zafar Barcha said: ‘This is not new for us living in this country, but I still enjoy and find it interesting.’
Gilgit Baltistan District Disaster Management Authority (GBDMA), immediately mobilized their highway rescue teams and machinery to clear the avalanche. No causalities were reported in the area.
