This is the skin-crawling moment hundreds of caterpillars crawled all over a tree in northern Thailand.
The clump of hairy silk worms were slowly creeping up the tree in Chiang Rai province on November 17.
Insect enthusiast Jay said he discovered the creatures in his backyard and was stunned at their number.
He said: “I think the caterpillars were Cricula trifenestrata. They were abandoning their defoliated host together.”
