Thai woman revives lizard when its heart stops by giving CPR

A Thai woman revived a lizard when its heart stopped beating after it stuck on an air conditioner for too long.

Health worker Jang Nipaporn saw the common house gecko fall to the ground before she performed CPR on it in Kamphaeng Phet, Thailand on April 27.

After pumping the heart, the reptile gained consciousness and moved again.

She said: ‘This is my first time performing CPR on a gecko. I am relieved it worked and the animal survived.’
