A hapless kitten was rescued after it was found with its head stuck in a concrete manhole cover in southern Thailand.
The ginger moggie wandered under the drain when it tried to stick its head out of the small hole in the cover in Songkhla province on April 24.
One of the volunteers gently pushed the animal’s head out of the hole until it was eventually freed.
A rescue team member said: ‘The cat casually left after it was freed. It was not hurt, just stuck in the hole because it was careless.’
