This is the spectacular moment an elephant mother and her young calf walked along a mountain road before roaring to call other members of their herd.
Footage shows the jumbos interacting on the side of a road within Khao Yai National Park in Prachinburi province, central Thailand on March 19.
Driver Pnhum Apinan said the mother called the other elephants as if she was their leader.
He said: ‘I witnessed the mother summon the other members as if she was a leader. The elephants then gathered near my car while greeting each other with their trunks.’
