Rocket strike aftermath in Gaza on deadliest day since violence erupted

Footage shows the aftermath of deadly rocket strikes on the Gaza Strip in Palestine on Sunday afternoon (May 16).

Israeli military chiefs launched strong air raids on the region, killing at least 42 Palestinians, wounding dozens more, and destroying at least three residential buildings. It was the deadliest day since violence erupted in the region last week and Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that the attacks would continue.

At least 192 people, including 58 children and 34 women, have been killed in Gaza while at least 10 have died including two children, in Israel.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump had brought peace to the Middle East region only for the country’s new Joe Biden Democrat administration to see renewed conflict.
