A shopping mall was deserted amid the lingering Covid-19 wave in Thailand.
The mall used to be busy with shoppers buying clothes, accessories, furniture, food, and even beauty and wellness centres in Chatuchak, Bangkok until it was closed down.
Now the commercial stalls looked like a ghost town as the closure was extended on the five-story building holding 700 shops on May 23.
Chatuchak district was a popular tourist destination for its variety of shopping establishments but was reported to be one of the top three high-risk Covid-19 zones in April.
As reported on April 28, 21 people were found infected with the virus at Chatuchak district.
Thailand has recorded 135,000 Covid-19 cases so far with 832 deaths as of May 26.
