This is the shocking moment a family fell from an escalator inside a subway in China.
The two young girls were guiding their grandfather on the escalator that was moving up in Zhushi Kou station, Beijing on June 2.
As the structure ascended, the old man lost balance dragging the youngsters along with him. An onlooker who was behind them tried to help but he fell over as well due to the weight.
Policeman Wang Xianbing rushed to help the four people on the escalator. He said: ‘I was relieved that they were not seriously hurt. They should have just taken the elevator as it was safer for elderly people.’
