This is the shocking moment a car fell down a giant hole on a road in southern China.
CCTV footage shows a white sedan travelling towards the hole on an intersection before it was caught below in Jiangxi province on June 8.
Concerned onlookers approached the hole to check on the driver and the car and helped him climb out of the hole before they took him to the hospital.
Officers arrived on the scene to pull the vehicle out using a big crane.
‘It had been raining here for several days which may have eroded the soil under the road and created a sinkhole,’ one of the officers told local media.
