Israel launches airstrikes at Gaza three weeks after ceasefire was agreed

Israel launched airstrikes against Hamas in Gaza last night in response to incendiary balloons that caused fires in the country three weeks after a ceasefire was agreed upon.

Footage shows rocket explosion lighting up the night sky in the city of Khan Yunis in the southern part of the Gaza strip in the early hours of the morning (June 16).

The bombardment was the first sign of hostilities resuming since 11 days of rocket and missile fire between Israel and Hamas ended last month.
