Hundreds of ants carry away millipede in Cambodia

This is the fascinating moment hundreds of ants were seen carrying away a millipede.

The insect dual was captured in the grounds of the ancient Khmer temple Angkor Thom in Siem Reap, Cambodia, on June 9.

Onlooker Tum Hantitipart said: ‘This was a millipede. Even though it was bigger, the ants were able to carry it away. Nature is truly amazing.’

The ants are believed to have taken the millipede back to their nest to feast upon with other members of the colony.
