A kind worker rescued a hapless cat that had its feet stuck in an escalator.

Leo Thamma, 21, was on his way to work when he found the white stray struggling to free itself from the escalator leading to a train station in Bangkok, Thailand on June 25.

He then removed the animal that tried to attack him out of fear. After a few moments, the cat was freed unharmed and ran away from its rescuer.

The repairman said: ‘I could not ignore it as the cat looked so starved and needs to be taken extra care of. I am just relieved it was not hurt or injured.’
