A driver has trained his pet lion to climb into the car boot.
Footage shows the one-year-old white lion named Namchok on July 29 getting into the car’s trunk and exploring the inside of the vehicle.
His trainer, Yo Thin, said this will make it easier to transport the lion to a zoo in Hua Hin province, southern Thailand.
Trainer Yo Thin said: ‘I am training him to climb up and down from the car boot before having him delivered to the zoo. He will be in the zoo for tourists to take pictures. He can also play with dogs and cats.’
Yo Thin has a legal permit from the department of wildlife and plant conservation to take care of the lion as a pet in his home in Chachoengsao province.
