Massive fire rips through hay plant in Alberta, Canada

A large fire ripped through a hay plant east of Lethbridge city in Alberta, Canada on Thursday evening (July 1).

The blaze started in a warehouse at 7 PM causing extensive damage to the property. There were no reported injuries but damage was estimated at around $5 million.

Dozens of residents have died since Friday in Vancouver. Canada broke its own temperature record on Tuesday in Lytton, British Colombia with temperatures rising to 49.6 degrees Celsius.
