This is the dramatic moment a fork of lightning struck a road during a storm in China.
Footage shows the bright bolt extending down from the sky and hitting the ground near passing cars in Karamay City, Xinjiang region on June 11.
Driver Zhang said: ‘What a phenomenon. The lightning was mysteriously beautiful and seemed to be dangerous at the same time.’
No one was injured in the incident.
