This is the shocking moment a bolt of lightning struck a moving car on a highway in China.
Dashcam footage shows the lightning hitting right on top of the car bonnet as it moved along an expressway in Zhejiang province on July 4.
Flames sparked on the glass for a moment before the startled driver pulled over during the storm.
The driver told local media: ‘There was a thunderstorm and my car was hit by lightning. It happened so fast I didn’t realise what happened until I heard the loud bang.’
No one was hurt but some parts of the car were damaged including the vehicle’s side mirror.
