Stranded residents watched from their homes as a muddy deluge of floods swept through their village in China.
Shocking footage shows waist-deep brown water gushing between their houses in Jingcheng City, Shanxi province on July 11.
Some of the parked vehicles were apparently washed away by the water while motorists struggled to cross the flood and save their cars.
An official said the extreme weather caused power interruption and phone signals were cut due to damaged power lines and towers.
