Flood caused slow traffic on narrow roads in the Philippines after twin typhoons In-fa and Cempaka battered the country.

Footage shows motorists wading through the knee-deep water that gathered on a road in Marilao, Bulacan province today (July 21).

Shop owner Mary Ann Jasa said: ‘This has always been our problem. Whenever there is rain the dirty water would collect in front of my store.

Typhoon In-fa, locally named Fabian, brought heavy rains to the northeastern side of the country heading to Japan while Cempaka was on the west heading to China – both intensifying the southwest monsoon.

The twin weather disturbances are expected to bring strong winds and rains in the country until Thursday (July 22).
