Streets were flooded and several vehicles were submerged in water after days of record-breaking rainfall in central China.
Footage shows abandoned cars in a business district in Henan province’s capital city Zhengzhou on July 22 which was among the hardest-hit areas.
Scientists say Henan has not experienced this kind of rainfall in 60 years, warning that climate change might exacerbate such extreme weather phenomena in the future.
At least 63 people have died and more than 100,000 people were evacuated from the city which was situated on the banks of the second-longest river in the country.
