Aerial footage shows a bird’s eye view of farms with rice and other crops destroyed by typhoon In-fa in the Philippines.
Resident Alex Villaluna said the locals were about to harvest the crops when the typhoon battered the region in Nasugbu Batangas on July 22.
He said: ‘It is very sad because last week the volcano gave a stir and now there is severe flooding in our area. I just wish the disasters were over.’
Typhoon In-fa, locally named Fabian, slowly headed to the East China Sea but continued to intensify with the monsoon maintaining heavy downpours across Luzon island. Dozens of people have since been killed in China where the typhoon caused floods.
