Dixie fire burns through hills in northern California

Footage shows the Dixie fire as it burned through more than 200,000 acres of land on Monday (July 26).

The wildfire first started on July 24 in northern California’s Plumas and Butte counties before spreading over dry hillsides.

The flames ripped through a small town in Indian falls burning the forest area forcing more than 16,000 residents to evacuate.
