Strong magnitude 7.1 earthquake felt in Philippine restaurant


This is the moment a magnitude 7.1 earthquake was felt in a restaurant in the Philippines.

Footage shows light fixtures shaking and doors creaking in a restaurant in Compostela Valley, Davao de Oro on August 12 in the early hours of the morning.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake struck off the coast of Governor Generoso in Davao Oriental at dawn.

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said no major structural damage has been reported so far.
