Democrat supporters cheer as a motorcade carrying Joe Biden arrived in Arlington, Virginia, where the President and Kamala Harris honoured fallen soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery on Wednesday (Jan 20).
Mr Biden was sworn in and became the 46th U.S. President. He was later photographed setting to work in the White House as former President Donald Trump arrived in Florida.
Donald Trump has never formally conceded the presidency and snubbed the inauguration ceremony.
