Hurricane Grace hit Mexico on Saturday, ravaging Poza Rica City and wrecking several buildings.

Footage on August 22 shows a car repair shop in the city with its roof completely torn apart. Hurricane Grace has also toppled over trees, billboards, and electric posts across other areas of Veracruz state.

Hurricane Grace first made landfall on the Yucatan Peninsula on Thursday August 19 before restrengthening into a Category 3 storm and slamming into Mexico’s eastern coast on Saturday August 21.

Veracruz State Governor Cuitlahuac Garcia said at least eight have died during the storm, including children.

Grace has since been downgraded to a tropical storm and is expected to head into the Pacific region.
