Aquarium shakes as magnitude 7 earthquake hits the Philippines


A magnitude 7 earthquake hit Davao, the Philippines today (Jan 21).

Footage from Davao City shows shows a family’s aquarium shaking shortly after 8:23 pm local time.

Resident Jemmar Havana said: ‘I could feel the building move. The fish tank in my room was shaking.’

The United States Geological Survey reported that the quake struck at a depth of 95.8lm around 210km southeast of Pondaguitan in Davao Oriental.
