This is the moment a motorcyclist’s helmet saved his life when an out-of-control truck whacked him in the head.
Shocking CCTV footage shows the rider named Dou stopping at a red light at an intersection in Xiangyang City in Hubei Province, China, on August 29.
A truck drove next to him, turning left and accidentally slamming Dou’s head with the tail end of its trailer.
The motorist appeared to be in a daze as he fell onto a pedestrian crossing. He was later sent to a hospital for treatment, suffering minor injuries on his leg.
He credited his ‘lucky’ helmet with saving his life.
