Residents were evacuated as Tropical Depression Lannie lashed Bohol province in the Philippines on October 4.

Footage shows the Philippine National Police conducting a rescue operation to help stranded residents cross flooded roads and reach Calape town’s evacuation centre.

The low-pressure area that has been affecting the Philippines’ central and southern islands developed into a tropical depression on October 4 afternoon.

It exited the country’s area of responsibility on Wednesday morning, but is expected to bring rains to the Philippines’ central and northern regions.
