A temple was nearly submerged by floods due to continuous rainfall in China.
Footage shows muddy water inundating the Longwang Temple in Sichuan province on October 6 after the nearby Tingzikou Water Conservancy Project reservoir had to discharge water.
Temple worker Xi said: ‘The Longwang Temple is located on the riverside. The terrain is relatively low and flooding often occurs when the water level rises. The flooding is more serious this year.’
They added that damage was minimal since everything in the temple has been moved out in advance.
