This is the shocking moment a truck driver involved in a head-on crash in China narrowly cheated death thanks to his seatbelt.
The trucker was travelling along a road in rural Hunan province on September 30 when another lorry came barreling at him at the intersection. The man could be seen frantically steering the wheel as he tried to avoid the impending collision.
In-car cameras show how the impact shattered the driver’s seat window and rattled the man and his cargo. His seatbelt kept him in place when he was nearly flung towards the windshield.
The shaken driver appeared unharmed as he got out from the truck to assess the damage.
