A male passenger who wanted to take a bag of live crabs on a high-speed rail in Zhejiang Province trampled on his crabs after train staff refused to let him board with the animals.
Footage shows the man laying out the crabs on the floor of the Yongkang South Station before crushing them in front of the staff on October 14.
The man was on his way to Fujian province when a guard reportedly scolded him, saying the crabs would ‘pollute’ the train. He then stepped on the crabs and killed them before bringing them into the train car.
It is unknown if the man was apprehended by authorities.
