This is the moment a man took shelter when a magnitude 4.2 earthquake hit the Philippines – but did not forget to bring his liquor.
Martin Nelson Agawa Mejia said he was about to conduct an online drinking session with his friends when he felt the shaking in his home in Naga, Camarines Sur province, on October 14.
CCTV footage shows the quake rocking the furniture in the house shortly before Martin rushed to check on his wife.
He said: ‘I was about to take a picture of the alcohol I was going to drink when suddenly there was an earthquake. In my haste, I took it with me and ran to my wife’s room to see if she’s safe.’
