CCTV footage shows the man squatting while browsing snacks on the lower-shelf of the store in Hainan, China, on October 14.
A watery pile of stool was seen falling out from his shorts as he stood up. The man appeared surprised then continued to browse through the aisle like nothing happened.
The man left the store but was identified after staff found the mess and checked security cameras to see what had happened.
The incident was reported to police to track down the alleged offender.
