A fire broke out in a hospital in Guangdong, China, forcing patients to evacuate on October 19.
Video shows the fire ripping through the inpatient building of the Meizhou City People’s Hospital on Tuesday. Smoke billowed out from the hospital while firefighters worked to extinguish the fire.
No casualties were reported as patients and staff were immediately evacuated from the hospital.
The hospital did not suffer major equipment and property losses.
Authorities believe a short circuit in one of the appliances in the building caused the fire. Further investigation is currently underway.
