A flight attendant scolded a passenger suspected of opening a plane’s security door in China.

Video shows the female air hostess quarreling with the man at the Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport in Shandong province on October 25.

The woman was heard saying: ‘Do you know why I have to be so serious? It is because it’s a safety regulation.’

The flight attendant reportedly changed the man’s seat after deeming him unfit to stay next to the emergency exit.

Passengers seated near emergency exits in planes generally must pass a variety of criteria as mandated by law. They are usually evaluated and briefed by staff on proper protocols, and must be physically and mentally capable of assisting plane staff in case of emergencies.
