Firemen removed several rings that had become embedded on a woman’s swollen fingers after she wore them for too long.

Footage shows hospital staff and firefighters in Guangdong, China, working together on October 23 to remove the stuck accessories on the sedated woman’s fingers, which had ballooned from the constriction.

The rescuers used several tools such as cutting pliers and needle-nose pliers to conduct the operation, tucking pieces of cloth under the rings to avoid cutting into the patient’s flesh.

After 30 minutes, they removed a total of nine rings from the lady’s fingers – four from her index, three from her middle, and two from her ring finger.

Medical staff immediately treated the woman following the rescue operation and she was able to leave shortly after, albeit with a sore hand and finger.
