This is the scary moment a tire from a passing truck exploded onto a pedestrian in northern China.
Shocking CCTV video shows the large vehicle driving on a road in Cangzhou, Hebei province on November 1 when one of its tires burst, blasting a man on the sidewalk with smoke and dust.
Mr. Ye, the owner of a nearby barbershop, went outside after hearing the noise and saw the victim emerging from the smoke, dirty but uninjured. The explosion had also knocked away the license plate on a parked car in front of the store.
Since there was no significant damage, Mr. Ye said he would not pursue the truck which kept on driving despite appearing to have caused the accident.
