A stray kitten was rescued after getting stuck in a car’s engine in Thailand.
Settachet Guedchai was driving to work when he heard a faint cry coming from his vehicle during the rush hour morning traffic in Bangkok on October 21.
The motorist pulled over and checked inside but could not find anything. He then followed the sound and was shocked to discover an orange male kitten inside his car engine.
Settachet coaxed the tabby to a spot he can reach before carrying it to safety. The scared feline was seen panting heavily after being rescued.
After bringing the cat home, the kind driver adopted the moggy to raise as a pet.
He said: ‘I’m surprised the cat survived. It was more than a 30-kilometre drive to the office.’
