A skilful barber served up a wacky hair cut based on the iconic doll from the hit Netflix show Squid Game.

Footage shows the hair artist named Allen cutting, shaping, and dyeing his customer’s hair to look like the doll’s face. He said the haircut took seven hours to complete at his shop in Changhua City, Taiwan.

The customer had requested the ‘Red light, Green Light’ doll hair art on the back of his head after the Netflix series gained worldwide popularity.

Allen, director of the XB hair salon, said: ‘My customer paid a total of 12,000 New Taiwan Dollars for the hair art. I enjoy making different hair art resembling movie characters and even famous politicians.’

The South Korean Netflix drama Squid Game tells the story of hundreds of participants struggling with debt who compete in a series of children’s games with a violent twist to win the final 45.6 billion won (38.7 million USD) prize.

The series was released on September 17 and received an overwhelming response from viewers worldwide but it has also been criticised for showing violence and gore.
