Talented artists use three pens to draw three portraits at the same time

Two talented artists used ballpoint pens to draw three portraits at the same time.

Junel Salido, 20, and Irah Ignacio, 18, attached three ballpoints pens to a stick so they could use them to draw three faces on the piece of paper in Agusan del Sur province, the Philippines.

It took Junel four hours to finish his drawings of the country’s candidates for the presidency in the election next year while Irah drew famous Hollywood actors.

Junel said: ‘I drew a picture of this year’s running presidents and had the idea to draw them at once. I spent four hours to finish it.’

Irah added: ‘I loved drawing since I was in grade school. Recently, I saw videos of artists drawing like this and gave it a try. It was tiring but worth it.’

More people took notice of Junel’s art after he posted timelapses of himself sketching on social media. The portraits sell for P300 (about £4.50) to P1,200 (£17.5) each, which Junel uses to fund his schooling.

He has since learned how to draw five sketches and seven at the same time.
