Heartwarming footage shows how a kind woman rescued a kitten she found on a road and nursed it back to health.
Dyesbelle Liguts was on her way to the market to buy food for her cats when she spotted the helpless moggie lying on the wet ground in Cotabato City, Mindanao, the Philippines on November 9.
Dyesbelle bathed the cat with a skin cleanser and fed it some milk before swaddling it in a piece of cloth and putting it to sleep.
She said: ‘I have 10 pet cats and all of them are well taken care of so abandoning this kitten would’ve broken my heart. That’s why I didn’t hesitate to bring him home. I’m hoping that he will recover soon.’
The kitten, which Dysebelle named Puti meaning white, has since recovered and has been living with his new owner.
