This is the moment a truck toppled over crushing several cars after its tire exploded from alleged overloading in southwestern China.
Video recorded in Fenggang County, Guizhou province on October 29 shows the truck turning the corner of the wet road before tipping over and falling onto parked cars. A jet of air was seen bursting from one of its left rear wheels.
Three empty vehicles were damaged in the accident, including a white car that was crushed like a tin can under the truck’s weight.
Traffic police said the driver named Chen was allegedly driving too fast on the slippery highway while turning. They added that the vehicle’s cargo weighed over 30 tons, violating traffic safety rules. Chen will be bearing full responsibility for the accident.
