A large tree was uprooted after being battered by strong winds in northern China.
The tree collapsed onto the road and blocked the intersection of Beison Road and Meiji Street in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei province on November 21. Authorities rushed to the scene to investigate the incident and clear the road.
The Shijiazhuang Meteorological Observatory had issued a moderate yellow gale warning signal – the second-lowest in China’s four-tiered, colour-coded alert system – early afternoon on November 21.
