This is the moment a naughty kid was almost crushed by a refrigerator which he pulled down in northern China.
CCTV footage recorded in Lingwu City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region on November 20 shows the child pestering a woman before forcefully opening the doors of the empty fridge, which then fell down on him.
His mother, still carrying a tray of food, managed to block the impact. Customers and staff lifted up the refrigerator to free the boy.
The mother said: ‘Fortunately, the freezer was empty and the child is not injured. A broken freezer can be repaired, but my son cannot.’
